Reputation Points are used to reflect the activity of users on the platform and form a base for distribution of the Daily User Rewards among all users active on that day.
Reputation Points are generally measured by your level of activity and how many actions you performed that added value to the platform. There are different ways that you can build your reputation on PUBLC ranging from the amount of days you were active on the platform to the amount of content categorizations. As the platform grows, there will be more actions that will improve (or harm) your user reputation.
Note that it is not a 1:1 relationship between action and reward, instead, as users are more active, they create more value and therefore earn more Reputation Points. The more value you add to the platform, the more Reputation Points you gain and the more Reputation Points you gain, the higher your rewards will be.
As Reputation Points are accumulate over time this gives an advantage to users who have joined PUBLC early as they will have more Reputation Points than new users joining later, and thus will also reward them more of the User Rewards distributed.
How Reputation Points are earned:
- User Activity: For every day you are active on PUBLC you earn 10 Reputation Points. Actions that count towards being active are consuming content and categorizing content. (*you don't earn more Reputation Points for clicking on many content items).
- Content Categorizations: For every approved categorization you earn 1 Reputation Point. Rejected categorizations will not earn you any Reputation Points and spam categorizations could even harm your Reputation score.

Isn't it 100 points for everyday activity and 10 points for approved content categorization?
